Tuesday started off with rain, then turned into a great day all around.
In the morning, Will preached the morning session on the Sovereignty of God. His main points were:
- God Knows Me
- God Goes With Me
- God Owns Me
The evening session, from Galatians 3:22-26 was a gospel message on our need for Christ. His points were as follows:
- The Law teaches us that we are sinners
- The Law teaches us that we need a savior
It was a very simple message, but he gave a lot of illustration for both unbelievers and believers alike. He encouraged unbelievers with the fact that though they are sinners, Jesus died to save sinners. For believing kids, he encouraged them that Jesus still is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us when we ask Him to.
Supper was a cookout with roasted hot dogs. The kids are liking two things in particular: Jones Soda and Smoothies from the “Ugly Mug” Coffee Shop.
All the kids are doing well. No one is homesick and all are happy. Tired tonight, but happy campers!
