Mark’s Labor Day Update

 Monday, September 07, 2009
Mark enjoyed several visitors today. (See pictures.)  Jenn and Ben Dawson came with cute little Jack.  Pearson’s Mom and her husband, Darrell, were up visiting from Indiana for the day and went up to the hospital to talk and pray with Mark.  Since it was a holiday, his leg was not able to be tended to today.  Please pray that everything will be taken care of with his leg tomorrow and that he will be able to tolerate the pain.  Also, he may be released from the hospital very soon due to insurance issues.  Please pray that something can be worked out so that he can stay a few more days—now seems way too soon.

Thanks for the updates, Amy. Also for the pictures. We are praying for Mark and the family.

I was greatful to receive an email from your Dad regarding Mark. It must be very hard to be on the other side of the world and know your son is suffering. When I visited with Mark on Labor Day he seemed very uncomfortable and afraid. He didn’t want the mistakes repeated that that you mentioned in your blog. I am very disappointed that Medicare did not go through. I pray that it still may, sometimes these things take a long time.

Your father has shared this blog site with our family so we will know what is happening with Mark. Thank you for your efforts.

Lord, you are most gracious and merciful. We trust You in ALL things. Help Mark to see clearly YOUR will for his life. Give him courage, strength, and healing inside and out. Thank you, Lord, for Your continued forgiveness and unconditional love.
